Puppies
Thank you for your interest in a
Fidelity Farm
puppy! Our loyal Minions are much-loved and
valued family members; therefore, we take placement of their precious offspring
very seriously!
Every effort will be made to ensure they receive the kind of homes they deserve
– where
appropriate love, care and training are present to last their lifetime. All our
dogs are
OFA/CHIC-qualified at considerable cost, so have completed all necessary health
clearances
(hips, elbows, CAER/CERF, genetic, etc.) to help ensure high quality health is
passed to
subsequent generations.

Most often our puppies are reserved before they are born, so we generally have a wait list. To
hold a place on it, you are welcome to fill out a Puppy Application, located under blue button
below, and return via email or through the regular mail. An application does not commit you to
purchasing a puppy from us. Reservations are filled in order based upon the date we receive &
approve your application. As we seek to continue to build and improve our bloodlines, we retain
first-pick of all litters — male and female – if a particular puppy would have specific
attributes we’re looking for.
As each litter arrives and we know the gender numbers available, we will contact each applicant
(in order received). At that time, we can accept a deposit ($300) to solidify your puppy
reservation. Deposits are applied to the overall cost of each puppy, and once paid, are
non-refundable. Balance of full payment must be received prior to Adoption Day, or in cash the
day of before puppy can leave Fidelity Farm. The current price for our puppies is $1800, plus
8.1% WA State tax, with AKC Limited Registration (no breeding rights). If you have additional
questions about this process, please phone, or drop
us a
line and we’d be happy to get back to
you.
Please click on the “Puppy Information” button below for additional information about our
philosophy and practices. We are always willing to take puppies/dogs back should you encounter a
serious life situation that would require you to give them up (should you be unable to find a
good home for them). Our puppies go to select homes only. As stated in the Purchase Contract, we
require assurance that no Fidelity Farm puppy/dog will ever be surrendered to a shelter! We
would gladly find them a caring home, if needed at any future point.
Adoption Day is planned well in advance, and a specific time that day will be arranged for you
to come get your puppy. Puppies are released at 8 weeks of age. By that time they will have had
a wide variety of safe experiences (people, sounds, surfaces, settings, cats, other dogs, toys,
steps, tunnels, etc.) using the “Rule of 7s”. Puppies leave us with a 24-month guarantee (hips,
elbows and eyes). Prior to Adoption Day each is vet-checked, microchipped, given first DHPP
vaccine, and wormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks. We supply copies of health records, bill of sale,
purchase contract, our signed guarantee, British slip-lead, and feeding & first-step rearing
instructions.
We strive for 100% AKC registration of our puppies and ask that you arrive on Adoption Day with
your preferred registration name, as we will complete the AKC forms and mail them for the entire
litter. All registered names must begin with “Fidelity Farm’s” (ex. Fidelity Farm’s Willow).
Cost of basic registration, including AKC Reunite registration (microchip) is approximately $45.
If you prefer to receive a certified 3 or 4 generation pedigree, the cost will be a bit more.
Please bring a separate check (payable to AKC, to cover this cost). AKC will then send your
puppy’s completed registration materials back directly to you in the mail.
Except in very rare instances, we do not ship puppies. We prefer that you fly to Spokane and
take them back with you in an approved, soft-sided carrier as your carry-on baggage. Many times
it is actually cheaper to purchase one round-trip ticket than to ship as cargo! Puppy will be so
happy to be with you, and you may end up being the most popular person on the flight with such a
sweet travel buddy! ☺
For the health sake of your puppy, we ask that you do not spay or neuter until at least 14
months of age. We would prefer you wait till 18 months, as that is around the time their growth
plates close after reaching adult size. Research now shows that adolescent hormones present
until reaching full stature (while in-tact) contribute positively to overall health and
development of joint, bone and connective tissue. Given the strong support for such research,
any early spaying or neutering prior to 14 months will nullify our 24 month guarantee for hips
and elbows.
Once you have your puppy home, we are happy to provide information and recommendations as time
moves forward as part of our extended Fidelity Farm Family. If you have any additional
questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We look forward to working with you!
